Doctor Sleep - Stephen King

Doctor Sleep is Stephen King's 2013 sequel to The Shining, following a middle-aged Dan Torrance as he uses his psychic "shining" ability to comfort the dying at a hospice, earning the nickname "Doctor Sleep". He must confront his past and battle a quasi-immortal cult called the True Knot, who feed on the psychic energy of children with the shining, when he meets a young girl named Abra Stone with an even stronger gift. The novel was adapted into a 2019 film starring Ewan McGregor.
